In the education blogosphere, talk of 'online learning' and the 'flipped classroom' has become nearly ubiquitous; as the tide rises, it seems everyone has something to say. At GameSpark we are particularly attuned to the dialogue, though - being enthusiastic creators of online game design courses - we certainly won't claim to be an unbiased third-party! Those wanting to dive in further can attend Iowa State University's "Flipped Classroom" webinar Wednesday, June 15 from 2:00pm-3:00pm CST - login as a guest, or visit Scott McLeod's blog after the fact for a recorded version.
The Khan Academy stages an 'education revolution' - but it has its share of critics.
Schools look to "BYOD" (Bring Your Own Device) policies to cut technology costs and - debatably - create more agile learning environments.
Professor and non-profit founder Trey Martindale weighs in on the future of online learning.
